For class on Monday, July 19th, we will focus on the learning lines in writing. Please bring the materials I passed out in class last week (one was a packet outlining the six traits of writing and the other was a sheet about the learning lines). Also, please bring the materials posted on the July 15th page. We will spend some time analyzing the student writing samples and also spend some time discussing the demands of different genres in reading and writing.
